Join Polar Adventures for an unforgettable evening searching for the magical Northern Lights. Departing from Tromsø city centre at 20:00, our experienced crew will take you towards areas with the best conditions for spotting the aurora.
Stay warm in our thermal suits and enjoy complimentary coffee, hot and cold drinks, and unlimited cookies.
Our crew will gladly help you adjust your camera or phone settings to capture the Northern Lights.
We return to Tromsø by approximately 23:00. As the Northern Lights are a natural phenomenon, sightings cannot be guaranteed. If you don’t see them, you’ll receive 50% off one future evening cruise booking. Refunds are not available if the lights do not appear.
If weather conditions are unfavourable, we’ll contact you with an update.

What should you bring?
- Warm clothes (at least two layers), gloves and hat, good winter boots.
Amazing cruise even though the weather was not great the tour operator did everything to help make the trip fun. Saw various birds and even managed to catch a fish. Food was also great and plentiful, even catered for food allergies.
Stunningly beautiful. As a person whose been to many remote places the sights here were truly stunning. Also the man who led the tour is absolutely hilarious.
It was a really really good experience, very well organized and father and son were a really good crew. We had done to the wale safari too which was also a good trip, Thomas is a really nice and friendly guy. We can only say we will do it again if we stay in tromsø.
